Hi

I'm a noob at Linux as an OS; just installed kubuntu on an old laptop and the first thing I tried out was my Vodafone USB Modem to have Internet on the go.

I got the drivers from Betavine and installed them successfully.

Once the Mobile Connect application loads, I manage to connect and send SMS, but cannot connect to the Internet - no connection. The browser gives me an error message.

I also tried connecting through a dial-up connection, but to no avail. It connects perfect, but no data is transferred to and fro - meaning, stillllll no internet connection

Can anyone help please?
