DSL is not a "regular" Linux distro, so setting up a wireless may not be quite so straightforward. If you don't really need a distro with a small footprint, I would suggest using a "regular" distro such as Ubuntu (or Linux Mint), Fedora or Suse.
You can take my statement above as meaning: I don't have any experience with DSL!
