Need help setting up wireless usb in Backtrack 3

I have some problem to get my wireless card to work with backtrack 3.
In vmware i found wireless connections when i went to wireless assistant.

But when i wrot airodump-ng no result came up ..

I also tried to boot with the live cd .. but than i did not get any result eaven in wireless assistant ..

Can u help me set up my lan card in backtrack 3 i really need some help from someone that knows linux.

Backtrack doesn't seem to have the same wireless support that a regular Linux distro has. And if you are running it in a virtual installation, wireless may not work at all.

There is the chance that you are just missing the needed firmware.
