Wireless on Aspire One in Ubuntu

Hi,

I just reinstalled ubuntu on my aspire one and now I cant get madwifi to work. I am aware of the bug that the latest kernel update breaks netowrking, in the past I just downloaded the tar from another comp and went from there. It has worked in the past but it is not working anymore. I try to install it and I get some errors on each step. I have tried uninstall using make remove or whatever it is and I still get the errors when trying to install.

Is there another way of gettign wireless to work or gettign madwifi to work?

Thanks
