Built in wirless
Im running a Hp dv6-1030us. I dual boot with vista and linux. I am using Backtrack 3 via usb bootable. I am wondering if I can use my built in wireless or do I need to purchase an external one. If I can use my built in wireless I do not know how. Here is what I pulled up.

- 03-13-2009 #2Backtrack doesn't recognize your wireless. You can see why I am not a big fan of Backtrack. Broadcom wireless cards have been supported in Linux for sometime now, yet Backtrack doesn't recognize it.Code:

I recommend using a real Linux distro like Fedora or Ubuntu, if you want decent wireless support.Paul
