Hi, I'm trying to set up my wireless.
I'm using a mandriva 2009 "One" live disk on my macbook.
I'm not very technical, but I'm trying to find my way around linux, for the first time.

Any help would be useful, thanks!

Your wireless is using the Broadcom 4328 chip. This currently does not have native Linux support. The only way to use this is to install NDISwrapper, and then have NDISwrapper use the WinXP driver for the wireless.

Since this is a LiveCD, it will all be wiped out on a reboot. You will then need to set it up again. If you create a bootable USB drive, you can save the changes that you make. You most likely can do this using Unetbootin.

EDIT: To save any changes to the USB version, you will need to make it persistent. See this link for some info on that:
