    Question Spotted Connections, But Still Can't get online



    I just installed the Kubunto on my Acer laptop it shows the networks available and when I select my Network and enter the key just nothing happens what can I do??

    Which Network tool is being used? Is it network manager? Does the connection attempt fail with any error message? Is your connection configured to use DHCP? Make certain the password is correct.
    After you enter the key, open a terminal/konsole window and try this command
    Code:
    sudo ifconfig
    Post the output back here please.

    I used to have the same problem on my EEE. I installed the wireless driver specific to my computer and it solved the problem.
