| Connectivity issues in Fedora 10 KDE I just installed said OS on my HP dv3000 (2GHz intel centrino, 4Gb RAM) with no problem, however when I open the browser (or anything else that requires internet including the twitter widget) the connection cannot be found. The wireless card seems to be working fine as I am notified when it has connected to my network. I have restarted the modem and the router, but the problem seems to be internal.
I will provide lspci upon req. but I am hoping this is a quick fix as the internet (if nothing else) worked fine on Mint. |

| Hello and Welcome!
Depending on the wireless chipset you may just need to install the firmware.
Take a look at this this page, and post back with the info. |

| Looks like the right modules are there, and the card is detected properly. What is the output of Intel wireless is well supported. You might be able to just add the wireless card as a new connection in your network manager. I'm not at all familiar with the KDE layout, so you'll have to poke around for that in your system menu. |
