[SOLVED] auto connect wireless

looking for some tips to get my wireless connection to auto connect everytime at boot up. i 've tried a few things but to no avail.

pci card (D-Link) atharos network adapter

network
no security
ssid not broadcast
filter enable, allow (for the mac address of my laptop)

network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

i believe it is something with dhcp settings but am unsure

solved

ssid has to be broadcast so i set up 128 bit wep
