Ubuntu v9.1 Wireless Problem

Wireless problem with Ubuntu 9.1 Netbook Remix - upgraded over v8.04 this evening and ended up losing my wireless. Re-entered wireless info (ESSID, DHCP, WEP Code) into network manager - no joy! Running Ubuntu on a Dell Mini 9. Here's the output from the script. I'd appreciate any help...

Your system is loading the b43 driver, and all of it's associated modules. You need to use the wl driver.

Did you activate it in the Hardware Drivers section?

System-->Administration-->Hardware Drivers

Select "Broadcom STA wireless driver", and allow it to install it.

If you have problems, you may need to do this in a terminal. Run these commands, but you will need a wired internet connection first.
Code:
sudo apt-get update
Code:
sudo apt-get --reinstall install bcmwl-kernel-source
Then try the Hardware Drivers section again.

Your welcome.

Were you able to just install the driver using the Hardware Drivers manager? Or did you need to go the --reinstall route.

I was surprised that it worked with hardware drivers in administration - the first time I went there, it said there were no proprietary drivers - but, it worked when I tried it again.
