No wireless-Fedora 8-Broadcom 802.11g

Hi All,

Could some one please help me installing wireless internet on Dell Inspiron 1520.
I am using Fedora 8.
The wireless card is Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter

You need the broadcom-wl driver and you need to blacklist the b43 driver.

To blacklist, add the following lines to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

RPM installation of Broadcom 802.11 STA wireless driver in Fedora 8/9/10 | cenolan.com

Fedora 8 has reached end of life and is no longer supported by the Fedora Project. I recommend upgrading.
