Hello all,
i am new to linux (running unbuntu 9.04) and im having problems connecting wirelessly.

i have installed ndiswrapper using ndisgdk and the device is there but it wont connect it asks for the passkey but still not working.
i have tried waterheads instructions at least the best i know and here is the out put from the file.
Maybe i am missing a step but my device shows as 4310?

So everything is working fine, except it can't connect to WPA/WPA2 networks. This might be actually be a NetworkManager problem.
I would give wicd a try instead and see if that helps.
Code:sudo apt-get install wicd

quick update,
i have upgraded to ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala, this did not help my connection.
i can connect with no security but who wants to do that?
do i need to setup the ndiswrapper.conf properly to get it to connect with WPA-TKIP?
though i though WICD does all that for you.
