    mandriva - wireless interface lost !

    Hi
    for some reason I get my wireless interface lost in mandriva 2009,i have Thinkpad ,it works fine under windows ,I tried to reinstall the linux and that didn't help,I get the following message :

    unable to find network interface for selected device using ipw2200 driver.
    any help !!

    More info is needed. Read through the thread linked to below. It describes the info needed, and how to find it. The second part has a script that can be run to automatically retrieve the info, so run that instead of manually doing it.
