    Installing wireless adapter help


    I am new to Linux (Ubuntu) and so need help setting up internet. I have an Edimax USB WiFi adapter that should support linux. But when I put it in Linux doesn't detect it and I'm not sure how to install with the CD....

    Most of that thread is for just trying to explain things, so people don't get confused. Just run the script from the second section of the thread. It will provide much of the info needed to enable us to help you.
