    Try reed9's idea. Boot up with the options added to the kernel line.

    You would need to follow these instructions:

    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Bo...20Installation

    As soon as you see the Grub message, start pressing the Esc key. Keep pressing it, on and off. until the Grub menu comes up as shown in the How-To. You most likely want the top kernel highlighted, then press the "e" key to enter edit mode. Then select the line that is named "kernel", and press the "e" key again.

    Move the cursor to the end of that line, put a space then this option.
    Code:
    pci=biosirq
    Press the "Enter key, then the "b" key. The PC will now boot into Linux, using the option that you added.

    This is only a one-time fix. If it works, it can be permanently added.

    Please elaborate. Did you again try the wireless? Are there still the error messages in dmesg?

    Thanks.

    I still see the same BIOS errors. Either you didn't do it correctly, or it didn't help.

    What I've done:
    insert "pci=biosirq" on the end of the line, with a space before, then boot and copy dmesg.txt.

    I didn't mean that you actually did it wrong. I only meant that it would be the only other reason for it not working.

    I also saw another error, with a similar explanation on how to correct it.
    Code:
    [ 0.000000] ACPI: BIOS age (336) fails cutoff (2000), acpi=force is required to enable ACPI

    Misunderstanding.
    Another error god damn.
    And now?

    You could try booting with both of those options added to the end of the kernel line.
    Code:
    pci=biosirq acpi=force
    Since adding pci=biosirq didn't eliminate the one error, I don't have high hopes that this will magically solve all of the problem. But you can still try.

    It looks like Linux may just not like your laptop/BIOS. I have already gone over your options, so I am not going to repeat them.

    It's done. The difference: the mouse cursor looks like a snail (slowly, very slowly).
    Althougt dmesg stays equal, in that lines:
