    Acer 9300 laptop Atheros [sp?] wlan on board


    Here is the info provided in .doc form keep getting an error about posting links. I see where to edit a connection in Fedore, but now how to search for and connect to a wireless network.

    This is your card. It should be and appears to be using the ath5k driver.

    If you could actually ask a question it would be easier to answer. That and the fact you attached your output as a word document are probably the reasons no one else has responded in the past 11 hours.

    If you use code tags, I believe it should get around the link problem. Otherwise, use plain text files only.

    Sorry I literally forgot to ask my question.

    I have Fedora 12, and I go to the connection menu and type in the SSID and hit OK. But I don't see anywhere to actually turn on or attempt to connect to a network.
