Sorry for the delay in replying.
I don't see any obvious problem. Maybe it is related to the rt (realtime) kernel that Ubuntu studio uses.
Post the output of this command, it may give us some clues.
It is quite possible that the driver module supplied by the Ubuntu repositories is incompatible with your kernel, and you may need to compile the driver from source. But I am only speculating about this.Code:dmesg

Hello Paul,
Its always a pleasure hearing from you!
Anyway, it was also kinda good that the reply took a little more time than the usual. I was "forced" to do some research. Which was suppose to what I have done even before I posted my request, I guess
.
I saw this one so I tried to do it.
[ubuntu_studio] wireless in ubuntu studio 9.10 - Ubuntu Forums
I started again by reinstalling my ubuntu 9.10, then after wireless and other updates/upgrades, I did this:
After 6 long hours of download, I was able to make a sort of a hybrid. I have the regular 9.10 version with all its softwares plus all the ubuntu studio had to offer.Code:sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop ubuntustudio-audio ubuntustudio-audio-plugins ubuntustudio-graphics ubuntustudio-video
And most of all, it's still on wireless.
I am very happy with what I have. Thank you very much!nujinini
