    wifi is not detected by kernel 2.6.32.2

    hi all,

    i have install kernel 2.6.32.2 by using linux-2.6.32.2.tar.gz .
    first i unzip this file in /usr/src.
    cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.32.2
    make
    make modules
    make modules_install
    and make grub entry and boot this new kernel .

    now this kernel is not able to detect wifi network.....but my 2.6.24.4-generic kernel is easily connect to wifi.
    so now what to do?
    i m struggling from couple of day.....plz help me
