Dell inspiron wireless 1395 WLAn mini-card does not work

Have two partitions on my Dell inspiron-Windows Vista and Ubuntu Linux. Wireless works ok with Vista's original drivers. With Linux I did download and activate the BCM4312 driver. It worked for sometime and suddenly has stopped and i cannot get it to associate with either a secure WPA/WPA2 personal or an insecure wireless network. Even while it was working I would have issues with switching between wireless networks. With Vista I dont have any problems connecting to them. Pasted below is the output of the WirelessSetup script. Thanks for your help. Renji

I just changed the partition back to Linux and it is working with the WPA/WPA2 network. Like I mentioned it works at times.
I had not specifically installed anything for a WPA suplicant but I was able to configure a network with WPA/WPA2 with the valid password - if that is what you mean. And this did work for me for almost a whole day. I was also able to ride on an insecure network. But it did not appear very stable when I switched between the networks. I am a newbie at Linux though I do undertstand wireless networks and stuff- always been with MS Windows. I was totally enjoying the experience with Linux when I was thrown out.

What errors or tags do I look for in dmesg? I have the latest dmesg log but I guess it is of no use because after the last boot it is working. If it fails again I can look into the log. Just wanted to verify if the BCM4312 driver the right or the closest one to use for the Dell WLAN Mini-card? Thanks
