RE telstra Bigpond wifi internet connection
Hi
I am very new to linux. I have a EEEPC with linux up. I believe it is Xavier/Debian distrubution. I would like to use my usb wireless modem. The dongle has a hardwired setup routine that will set up on any windows XP up but my searches so far suggest that it will not work with linuxs.
My question:1 Is there a relatively easy way to aquire the appropriate drivers that would allow me to use the wifi broadband from linux.
2> Can anyone suggest a portable wifi broadband usb plug in that would do the job.
Hope someone can help
Thanks

You might want to try to post the outputs of commands as suggested in the stickey of the wireless forums.
