I've recently installed Ubuntu 10.04

I need some help getting the drivers to work thugh.

But when I open it on Linux, it's just a bunch of random txt files.
I also cannot get a temporary connection the computer as it is too far away from the router unless I can use a laptop and bridge somehow...
