Edimax WiFi N adapter drivers help!

    I've recently installed Ubuntu 10.04

I need some help getting the drivers to work thugh.

My adapter cam with a CD which has a folder on it called: _Driver-Utility for Linux.

But when I open it on Linux, it's just a bunch of random txt files.

I also cannot get a temporary connection the computer as it is too far away from the router unless I can use a laptop and bridge somehow...

    Help please!!

    P.S. I don't know much about computers

    Hello and Welcome!

You will need to have to have access to the internet by cable to start with.

The reason is that you have to give the outputs of the commands asked for in sticky
