You can get rid of this warning by adding the .conf suffix to the ndiswrapper file in /etc/modprobe.d/
    Code:
    sudo mv /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper.conf

Are you using a 64-bit version of Linux? You really should have said so, right at the beginning!
    Code:
[ 18.621162] ndiswrapper (check_nt_hdr:150): kernel is 64-bit, but Windows driver is not 64-bit;bad magic: 010B
Either use a 64-bit WinXP driver, or install 32-bit Linux. There isn't much to gain from using a 64-bit distro, unless you are using more than 4GB of RAM.

The only 64-bit driver that I see in the folder is mrveap64.inf. But it doesn't have the device IDs listed in it. That is what happens in these type of combined multi-purpose drivers.

I think that this is where you tell it the device ID to use. First remove the old driver:
    Code:
    sudo ndiswrapper -r netmw245.inf
    Now install the 64-bit driver:
    Code:
    sudo ndiswarapper -i mrveap64.inf
Now tell it the device ID to associate with that driver:
    Code:
    sudo ndiswrapper -a 0846:7100 mrveap64.inf
You maybe should repeat all of the rest of the command options, like I originally said. Reboot, and see what you get.

So, does this mean that you re-installed a 32-bit version of Linux?
