WiFi on HP G62-144DX and SuSE Linux 11.3 not working

    Hello,

I'm new in Linux. I've downloaded SUSE Linux 11.3 64 Bit.

I finished to install it, but the wireless Lan will not connect.
I entered my connection, but no reaction.

Here are the information of my system due to your HowTo:

Everything looks fine there. What kind of encryption do you have on your network?

Do you see your network listed with the networkmanager?

Open YaST and configure the wireless device under the Network Devices. Choose these settings:

    Allow all users...
    Use NetworkManager (not traditional ifup/ifdown)
    Use DHCP
    Use auto DNS
Please do not send Private Messages to me with requests for help. I will not reply.

    Problem solved

    Hello,

    thank you for your help.

I solved the problem: It didn't work because the Network SSID was not visible. I turned it off in the DSL-Router.

When I turnfed it on Linux saw my connection and could connect.
