    Wireless Internet Connection in RHEL5


    Laptop : Dell XPS m1330
    OS : RHEL5

    I am not able to configure wireless internet connections.
    Instruct me in stepwise guys.

    If you have a RHEL license, you should utilize their tech support. If not, you might consider going with a RHEL clone like Scientific Linux or CentOS.

    Anyway, we need more info. Please read the wireless setup sticky.

    rhel5 kernel is old and you may not even be able to get your chipset working on it, depending on what it is, follow sticky as reed9 has suggested

    if you want to use a desktop distro like red hat, use fedora it will have much better hardware support
