I am very confused. Should I try to find a native driver, or should I use ndiswrapper?...

    Code:
    cardctl ident

I just installed regular puppy, and I was able to get the card to work using ndiswrapper. The only problem is it cannot connect to the internet. It says it is working fine, and it was able to pick up my router, but when I try to go on the internet, nothing loads. I had the same problem with this card and this laptop when it had Windows 2000. My uncle, who gave me the laptop, said that it might have to do with IP6 or something like that.

You can disable IPv6 in Firefox with this link...might be similar for other browsers.

That didn't work. Also, the light on the card next to "Act" (Active?) is blinking rapidly, and the light next to "Link" is off.

So what does this command tell you?
    Code:
    ifconfig
Are you disconnecting the cable before attempting the wireless? I think that needs to be done also.

That script doesn't seem to be working correctly for you. Can you post the output manually? Use root or sudo if you need to.

I booted it up today, with the ethernet cable unplugged and it worked! Unfortunately, I messed up the operating system, so I have to redo the whole thing.

Well, the main problem is that I don't think Puppy Arcade comes with ndiswrapper, even though it has a gui for it. When I installed regular Puppy, the gui in Network Wizard worked like a charm.

Is there any way I can edit my first post to include my solution before I lock the thread?
