    What happens when you issue this command as root or sudo?

    If it just goes to the next line, that means it was successful in loading the module. Post the error if you get one. If it works then issue this command and post the results, please.

    Finally, if none of that works, post the output of

    dmesg | grep -e wlan -e 819

    You should probably install the Realtek Linux driver for your card. It can be found here:

    Realtek

    You will need a few things to compile it:

    gcc
    kernel-devel (source)
    kernel-headers
    Paul
