    Linux and o2 dongles!!!

    Hi All,

I am having a bit of trouble connecting my mums acer one netbook to the internet via a o2 Huawei E1752Cu dongle.

Basically when I plug the dongle into the usb socket the File Manager comes up but when I click the Autorun.exe it does not do anything???

I've looked on some other forums with people using the same dongle and running Linux and they seem to have it working, its only a gonna be used as a means of getting on the net whilst we wait for the router to arrive then i'll run it off the router for her.

    Thanks in advance...

Also the guy in phone shop said it should work as he run Linux too...

Autorun.exe is a windows file, not a linux one. You need to get the linux driver.
