    It seems to me, the module is loaded (ssb), no errors in dmesg. Just for giggles, post the output of

    I just went through this in Antix forums with another Broadcom user.

    In the end. It was the wifi hotkey that was the culprit.

    I guess Scientific is different than Debian but a driver is a driver as firmware is firmware. That thread might point you on where to look for loading correct firmware and driver for Broadcom. (Maybe?)

    Thanks rok,

    I checked it out and my hotkeys are not working with my linux partitions. Only in expee

    Anyways FWIW, wireless are working fine in ubuntu and mint.
