    Help with wifi on ubuntu 10.04

    Hi,


    I originally downloaded 11.04 and tried to get my Linksys AE 1000 USB adapter to work, no dice. So I gave up and am now trying out 10.04 LTS, I installed the driver and now I can connect to the network but for 15 seconds before it times out. I really don't know how to troubleshoot this in linux (I'm to new to it) I'm stuck trying to get the connection to be stable. The signal is not an issue as I have a router as a wifi repeater sitting ontop of my tower.

    any help is appreciated
