Problems with Atheros ar9285 wireless adapter

    Hello

Windows 7 works perfectly with my wireless adapter.
The problem comes when I dual boot into Mint 12.

I can always connect to the internet after startup.
After a while, the connection will be lost from 4 seconds to up to about 20 minutes.
Sometimes it asks for the wpa2 password, but not always.
After the connection reconnects itself, it will disconnect again after several minutes.

    Some things I have tried:
Disabling wireless n on the router (but still allowing b and g) has no significant change on the problems.

I think I'm having a similar problem with the ath9k drivers. I have moved the card between two linux machines, one of them exibited the same behavior you are describing, the other doesn't work at all.
