If not, if you plan to use something else, then purging exim4 from your system shouldn't be an issue.

But if you are going to use it, take a look here: PkgExim4 - Debian Wiki

    And here: http://www.debian.org/releases/stabl...h08s05.html.en

    Jay,
I think I should just focus on something else and then go back to MTA when I really need it because it's probably too early to build a mail system now.
I would like to host my own websites and right now I'm in a still period ..I'm standing still while I figure out what it is that I want to do ...

In that case, ignore those errors for now.
They have to do with the default MTA for Debian. No worries right now.

Turn your focus to having a website. Which I have to admit, I know nothing about.
Try a few web-searches on hosting a website in Debian.
There should be some valuable documentation out there to at least get you started.

Depending on what your site to be, look for information on HTML.
My wife setup a nice looking site for her folks using HTML files.
After it had been a few years, and a college course is a little hazy, I went and got her HTML For Dummies. Perfect for a refresher, or for an intro.

Take a look around, though, for different ideas. And at the same time, post a question here on the forums.
We have several members who have their own websites that may be willing to help.

Googles' DNS servers are supposed to have pretty good uptime and query response time.
Sometimes, when I was doing internet tech support, I would advise customers to use those during DNS server outages.
