Hello and Welcome!
I took a look on the Intel Wireless site, and I believe I found the correct driver for your card.

hi im back...
n still stuck with my problem
after i extract to my home folder:
i found 3 file:Code:tar xvf iwlwifi-6000-ucode-9.221.4.1.tgz
1. iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode
2. LICENSE.iwlwifi-6000-ucode
3. README.iwlwifi-6000-ucode
n after i read installation on README, that:
but after i tried, the file iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode is already there, n can not copy replace.Installation of the firmware is simply:
% cp iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode /lib/firmware
You can now load the driver (see the INSTALL and README.iwlwifi provided with
the iwlwifi package for information on building and using that driver.)
now, how to load the driver?
- 04-29-2012 #5
Try this:
And then reboot.Code:sudo cp iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode /lib/firmware
If that doesn't work, there are still ways to make it work.Jay

still not work & nothing happen..

Open terminal and type in
hit enterCode:cd /lib/firmware
then type in
(lower case L for ls)Code:ls
Hit enter. Post output in next post so jay can see if you installed
correctly. Your screenshot of terminal only lists what you downloaded and extracted. Though I can't be sure what I was looking at on my little eeepc 701 screen. Hard to tell.Code:sudo cp iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode /lib/firmware

Hi Rokytnji,
I used Blackbuntu 03, its same model like ubuntu 10.10 (its said...)
& dont upgrade the kernel, because makes not stable anymore. just upgrade the tools.
sorry forget to explain in first posting...
i used my laptop as triple boot (7, fedora 16/f16, blackbuntu/bb). My 7 & F16 wifi is works fine. But not with BB.
