Wireless problem -Linux Mint 13 KDE on Acer aspire 4752GZ

    Hi friends

I am new for linux i just recently downloaded LinuxMint13 KDE its good looking in graphics but not detecting the wireless on my Acer aspire 4752GZ.
i have tried doing few things like
    1.iwconfig, it shows nothing.
2.then i used command: sudo modeprobe ndiswrapper ,nothing happens says command not found.
    3. then i did :sudo modeprobe ndiswrapper -m ,command not found.
    4. then i did : sudo gedit/etc/init.d./networking restart , then also wireless not working.
5 then i went to var/jockey.log file opened and deleted all line which were having blacklist broadcomXX. after that i returned to desktop and opened graphical utility Additional drivers.
its shows "Broadcom STA wireles driver activated but not in use" i removed it.
    6. after removing i again instaleld it and then it showd that driver activated and in use i used wireless internet but after i restarted , same problem arrived.
    7. i thought problem is in jockey.log in var folder so i opened syneptic package installer and removed the jockey from there but now i am not even able to open additional driver option. So pls help me in that regard how can i download the updated driver for wireless for Acer aspire 4752GZ on my linuxmint 13 KDE otherwise i am thinking to use ubuntu.Which is right Driver

This solution works for all the previous (recent) versions of ubuntu and its derivatives:

Uninstall both the Broadcom STA driver and bcmwl-kernel-source. Then install firmware-b43-installer and b43-fwcutter.

Reboot and it should work like a charm.

If not then one of the gurus will have to help you figure out what's wrong.
