    sudo ifconfig eth1 down
    sudo dhclient -r
    sudo ifconfig wlan1 up
    sudo dhclient wlan1
    Then try using the GUI to finish it.

    Running the commands you listed above all seemed to execute fine in the terminal. When you say to try using the GUI, are you referencing going to System Settings then Network? If that is the case, all settings are correct when I check them in that location. However, the issue still exists.

    You should be able to click the networking icon in the system tray...and configure everything from there.
