Shows connected to Wifi But can't connect to sites or ping router?!
I upgraded to the most recent version of Ubuntu and this started happening. I do not know what information is needed to allow someone to troubleshoot, but I can provide anything that is asked. Thanks in advance!

This may sound silly but does your router work? Is your router connected to the internet? Can you connect on a wired connection?

Yes, the router works...I have other computers connected to it. And yes the wired connection works, tested that theory as well.
Thanks for the input tho.

Go to the "Wireless Internet" thread here at Linux Forums, the first Sticky post and run the commands suggested there and post the information as a start.

Maybe this should be moved to the networking forum? Moderator's what do you think?

Yes, I am set to get an IP from DHCP. Attached is the .txt file containing the results of the code apove.
EDIT:
And let me add in (this didn't make a difference with previous versions of UBUNTU) my wireless network is set-up with security of
WPA-PSK
TKIP
*I have also removed all security from the network to test if this was an issue, and the computer in question was still unable to connect.

For all I can tell, DHCP is not working correctly or something else has gone awry.
Try this.
Now try connecting with the GUI network tool. Post any errors.Code:sudo ifconfig eth0 down sudo dhcpcd -r eth0 sudo ifconfig wlan1 up sudo dhcpcd wlan1

I wasn't sure if that was a zero or the letter O so I just ran both...the top 2 commands errored as well as the 4th...the 3rd ran fine...errors are below:
