    Choose choose wireless channel


    I am using a router that connects to channel #4, how can i configure my application wifi to connect to channel #4 without auto scan all of the channels?
    any implementation would be great

    hello and welcome, firass!

    The answer to that is surely distro-specific, but the parameter you want is CHANNEL. it can be set manually using the iwconfig command. On RHEL/Fedora/CentOS type systems, you can set CHANNEL=N in the ifcfg-xxx file. See this example.
