wlan0 is your wireless and it shows it is working. So I am guessing you need connection picture for wireless in Zorin
    (which I do not run)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HfopS7FV9M

    Code:
    Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc. Device
    Kernel driver in use: ath5k
    Guessing this is you
    AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)

Which makes it look like you are posting from Acer Aspire One mini netbook . Either a 110 or a 150 model.

I used to own a Acer Aspire One ZG5 and can say from experience. The atheros wifi chip is well supported by the linux kernel. So if any trouble on your end.

Did you check the md5sum of the zorinos iso before installing it on your acer?

Sorry, I should of been clearer in the post, the PC's internal wireless card works but it drops out out regularly and is very poor at getting a good signal, the wireless adapter I'm trying to get to work is a Lb Link wireless N adapter.
The Pc is a acer revo r3610
    Thanks

Disable the onboard one in the BIOS as the first step...
Are you a clueless Kali user? If you can't get Kali running on your own, it ain't the right distro for you.

Yep. I did the same on my ZG5 acer when running a wireless n usb.
