Ok you got atheros chipset ar5212 so you need to install madwifi or ndiswrapper (madwifi the preferred option).
Madwifi not my thing so hopefully someone else can assist or you can search the forums - probably easy enough to install if you can connect your fedora box wired to internet.

Ok, i've downloaded the MadWifi drivers and burned them onto a CD because my linux box doesnt have the internet at the moment. I understand i need to compile them somehow? I'd appreciate some help with it, and please keep in mind i am still learning Linux.

Don't know if you have source or rpms so here's a couple of links with all the info you should need - http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/Distro/RedHat

Rather than logging in as root, you can run lspci and other Linux commands in Red Hat based distros by including the full path...
    Code:
    /sbin/lspci -v
