slackware + wireless USB

a friend of mine who hsa recently got no internet and moved house to some place beginging with C and cant talk to me has given me his wireless USB..it works fine on this pc (windows) but i need help setting it up, im newish to linux, done a fiar bit, i would just like very much if someone could take some of there time and run me through setting it up on my laptop,
