XUBUNTU 6.10 Wireless Connection Help
I got an old laptop (P3-750). First, I tried to install UBUNTU 6.10, but alas the laptop could not handle the new ubuntu intallation.
Then I went to Ubuntu website and I found a smaller and faster version of Ubuntu - Xubuntu 6.10.
I have successfuly installed Xubuntu to the old laptop. Everything going great, until it tried to connect to the internet. I tried to use Belkin F5D7011 PCMIA wirelss modem.
As I understand, a program called ndiswrapper has to be installed, in order for the wireless card to work.
I tried to installed ndiswrapper. I have failed many ways to installed the program. I have sucessfuly unpack the program, however, I need to know what should I do next?
I also have the bcmwl5.inf for my drive as suggested by sourceforge.
Please someone help me on this...
Thank you.
