wireless problems also.
I have wireless problems that I hope somebody can help me with. I have an Acer laptop running Windows Pro XP. My wireless works great but I downloaded SUSE 10.1 and I've tried a Knoppix Live CD and I can't connect to the internet.
Could the problem be that Windows is effecting my ability to connect. Will I need an external wifi card? The NIC that came with the computer is Broadcom 802.11g.
Any suggestions on what I should do. I want to keep a dual boot system. Any help would be great.

use ndiswrapper, and if you are new to linux i recommend ubuntu or its derivatives.. google it and see if you can get it working before you give up and go swapping distros tho :P
