DLink G510 Help

Hi,

I am really new to linux. The distro I am using is suse 10.1.

I have searched long and hard to look for a way to get this pci card to work. So far the two ways I have found is to either use mad wifi or ndiswrapper.

Now since I am new to the linux thing, I have guides for both but they make no sense to me.

I am quite knowledgeable about windows but the tutorials I have found are just not specific enough; saying things like install the kernal source , or open the terminal, or things like that which I have no idea what they mean.

Could someone please help me out with this? I have downloaded the windows drivers for the card, madwifi, and ndiswrapper onto my windows partition and have had them copied onto the suse partition.

Thanks, Braden
