Why would that be here thogj, why would they agree to put ads for microsoft on a linu forum!!

Anyways, whats better for being a server, Windows Or linux, and I have a linus as a server for windows computers??? Ex give it a name and specify share names and make UNC paths. Ex

Thats a path I have on widnows, an I make that same path on Linux??

Linux is a wonderful server for mixed environments. Have a look at this article on Samba, or go straight to the source.

The "Get The Facts" site is one of Microsoft's campaigns against Linux. It was running pretty heavy about a year ago; it's been mostly ridiculed since it started, so it's not played up as much as it used to be.
