Wireless Card Issues, SuSE

So, I'm on an Alienware laptop now with a Wireless card, but when I try to log on to my Linksys network(the wireless router, the one that makes you put the wireless adapter into the USB port and you connect via the software they provide(I have the Windows version of that, but it shouldn't matter because I'm not using the Wireless Adapter) and it connects me for a few minutes before it kicks me off, then my Belkin wireless mouse starts to go crazy. Any help? Should I use a better network manager than the KNetwork Manager? I'm using SUSE 10.2
