| inux dies when using a wireless usb stick My first chance to use Linux on a wireless network via my laptop is now not looking so good.
So seeing as Broadcom drivers don't work I am having to use my wireless usb stick which is fine (DWL-G122). The problem is that once it's in and I press connect (to conenct to my AP) Linux just slows to a holt and almost freezes, it's impossible to do anything.
I did disable onboard wireless to see if that would help but it did't do anything, any ideas what might be wrong with it? I have tried it on two live distro's, Auditor & Mandriva 07. |
