jmbnyc Just Joined! Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 1	FC6 on IBM T42 and wifi I have an IBM T42 that I recently installed Fedora Core 6 on. It has the Intel Pro IPW2100 wireless adapter. I installed the 80211 rpm and then installed the IPW2100 firmware. However, nothing I do seems to make the link work. At boot up, the OS claims that eth1 failed. Once up, I try to 'activate' eth1 from the network admin screen. When I try this, it fails and suggest I 'check the cable' - that is an odd message for a wireless connection. Does anyone have a similar setup working. Any idea what I need to do to get it working. TIA, /JMB
