Dell Drivers Help! - '1300' TrueMobile

So I just got a USB wireless adapter, and I need to know if there's any drivers I can get for Ubuntu Edgy, or just how to set it up. I'm new to Ubuntu, and any help would be great.

Here's the adapter information (I'm not sure what all of it means either):

Dell - '1300' TrueMobile
802-11g Ext NIC - 'N2760_A01'

I don't do any wireless stuff myself, but I have read that card works with ndiswrapper. Here are a couple of threads regarding setting it up:

problems

So I followed the steps from the threads above, and i tried to install ndiswrapper but it came up with errors during the install (Error1 and Error2)
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it wouldn't even let me uninstall. Any help would be great. Also, I have a crossover cable between my two computers, and I don't know how to set up my own network.

What have you done to try to get it to work? Any error messages?

What is the make and model of your wireless card?

This one may be problematic for you. See:

I think the only hope may be to usw Windows drivers with ndiswrapper.
