hi
i have just bought an HP NX7400 laptop. I had installed Fedora Core 6. But, the problem with it is that it is detecting sound but it is not detecting my LAN card. So, I have installed fedora core 3 on it. It is detecting my LAN card, but it is showing me problem with my wireless card. do i need to install some package or RPM???
About sound card, I have tried installing ALSA driver 1.0.13 but it is showing me warning as:

WARNING!!! The mixer channels for ALSA driver are muted by default!!!
ou would use some ALSA or OSS mixer to set the appropriate volume.


Please help me. I have a project to complete by 15th March and i need Internet facility for it.
