Cynab Just Joined! Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 4	Is Acer Aspire 3003WLMi Supported? Help me Convert!! All of my searching has lead to information that I can't comprehend. I'm as new as can be, but really wish to learn to appreciate Linux. I would much rather do this with working internet however, so, for my Acer Aspire 3003WLMi, can I get my wireless to work? I haven't been able to find the exact model of my laptop on either of these sites, does this mean I'm hooped? http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...index.php/List http://madwifi.org/wiki/Compatibility http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz Thanks in advance for any help!!

Dark_Stang Linux User Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Around St. Louis Posts: 282	Yeah, you just have to use ndiswrapper and the windows driver for it, then blacklist the bcm43xx driver. It might sound complicated, but really it's only a few simple commands. __________________ Two levels higher than a newb. (I can search google)
