Installing Linux WMP300N via ndiswrapper help please

hello,
I am trying to install my wmp300n via ndiswrapper.
it uses bcmwl5...
anyway I think i loaded bcmwl5 into ndiswrapper
and now i keep getting this when i try to assign it to the hardware:

[root@localhost Desktop]# ndiswrapper -l
installed drivers:
bcmwl5          driver installed, hardware (14E4:4329) present 
[root@localhost Desktop]# ndiswrapper -a 14E4:4329 bcmwl5
couldn't create symlink for "14E4:4329:0060:1737.5.conf": File exists -
installation may be incomplete
couldn't create symlink for "14E4:4329.5.conf": File exists -
installation may be incomplete
driver 'bcmwl5' is not installed (properly)!

this is a very popular NIC, i tried searching the forum for threads including the nic's model# (WMP300N) but that's the only one I found. So im asking for some information.
pls post any info relating to connecting this device to linux.

Newer kernels will automatically use the latest Linux driver for Broadcom wireless, b43. Older kernels use the bcm43xx driver. You still need to have firmware for the card to work correctly.
